Did you know that Merseyside Expanding Horizons (MEH) is able to provide a range of services to voluntary and community sector groups across Merseyside?

                       What We Can Offer

Finance and Administration Support
On a practical level, MEH can offer a range of administrative and financial support.  We have acted as accountable body both for the SRB programme (£2.4m) and for MSEI (£3.8m).  We are skilled in budget and claims management and have a programme and finance team who can provide a range of support tailored to your needs.

Grant Management
We are skilled in managing grants programmes e.g. ESF Social Capital and MSEI Money with Management.  We have excellent processes and procedures already in place to deliver further grant programmes.

Project Development Support
We have been providing project development support to the groups receiving our Social Capital grants for over four years now and would be able to offer that support to other VCS groups – this could involve, business planning, marketing, organisational development, committee development, funding etc.

Media, Publicity, Newsletters, Webmaster
We employ a Communication Manager and could offer a service for press releases and production of newsletters and the management and updating of websites.

Management of Events and Seminars
MEH has run many high profile events, seminars and training sessions for example, our Be Inspired events (2005 and 2006) which saw over 250 people at each event listening to inspirational stories from guests such as Simon Weston, Doreen Lawrence and Gee Walker.  We can offer a complete service in event management.

Specific Project Management
Over the past few years MEH has been involved in managing a range of projects. MEH staff therefore have the skills necessary to become involved in running specific projects.

Transnational Experience
Over the past two years, MEH have been involved as partners in two transnational projects and have built an excellent reputation amongst our partners.  We therefore have knowledge, experience and a good reputation in transnational work which would be useful to any group wishing to develop this strand of funding.
