Merseyside Expanding Horizons facilitated a host of workshops for 20 aspiring entrepreneurs and supported them to understand the process of starting a business.
We supported individuals to develop a business plan and consider what skills are required to start and manage a business.
Within the training workshops each budding entrepreneur presented their business to their peers and had the opportunity to test trade at our Enterprise Hub, The Onion located in Bootle Strand.
Merseyside Expanding Horizons hosted an event for Trainers, Teachers, Managers, local media and Government, the seminar was held on the 22nd September 2017 from 11am until 2pm at our Enterprise shop in Bootle, The Onion.
The Seminar comprised of an overview of EIBI and we invited a renouned Business Coach to share with delegates how the MOOC can support entrepeneurship and futhermore what quantifies a successful business.
We then facilitated a question and answer session and encouraged participatants to provide their feedback. We also asked delegates how EIBI could be used within their current practice to understand further how the project can be exploited and disseminated.
MEH had 30 attendees from the largest youth organisation in Liverpool, NHS Mental Health Foundation Trust in Liverpool, The Fire Service and a charity for Disabled People, a local media organisation and a government department.
